We aim to foster collaborative planning and promote a culture of learning.Students at Giant Steps Tasmania learn from the Australian Curriculum, requiring teachers to develop skills in differentiation and curriculum knowledge, in order to make appropriate adjustments to ensure learning is meaningful and students learn successfully. Each student also has an Individual Education Plan (IEP), requiring teachers to develop skills in goal setting and program planning.The school's interventions and support programs that focus on students' communication skills, self-regulation, and social/emotional skills are equally important to the academic curriculum.
