Phillip Riley has an exciting new opportunity for an outstanding Mechanical Engineer.
Responsibilities:Design and verify mechanical and structural systems.Develop mechanical and process plans through development, qualification, and acceptance testing.Review specifications and other data to develop mechanical layouts.Identify and drive initiatives/projects to improve Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and equipment availability.Perform detailed analysis of downtime data, review maintenance strategies and recommend changes to strategies to address emerging risks.Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) including facilitation into downtime events, ensuring corrective actions/recommendations are in place to prevent recurrence of identified failure mode(s).Responsible for delivering engineering solutions, strategies and systems that will maintain compliance and improve operating performance, to ensure reliable and safe operations.Provide high-level mechanical engineering support and guidance to ensure both plants are operated within design ratings and maintained in accordance with relevant standards and codes.Collaboratively identify opportunities for improvements in safety, efficiency, capacity factors and availability of plant and equipment.What we are looking for in a candidate:Minimum of 2 years' experience.Ability to problem solve and understand complex problems; incumbent must be able to resolve situations that demand solutions.Capability to manage mechanical engineering activities across multiple sites simultaneously.Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
