Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)Full timeThe Procurement Specialist role is pivotal in managing supplier relationships, driving strategic ordering, and ensuring smooth procurement operations.Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role oversees end-to-end procurement, negotiating favourable terms with suppliers and coordinating inventory levels to meet demand while minimising excess.Key responsibilities include analysing sales patterns, aligning orders with inventory needs, and maintaining compliance with procurement regulations.This position demands a detail-oriented professional with strong negotiation and analytical skills who is adept at managing complex supplier relationships across both domestic and international markets.Working closely with the Operations and R&D teams, the Specialist will support product development, collaborate on cost-saving initiatives, and contribute to new business cases.With a focus on continuous improvement, the role includes regular performance reviews to ensure stock targets and budget goals are met.Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong relationships with both domestic and international suppliers.Analyse inventory and sales patterns to ensure ordering volumes meet demand.Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers for optimal outcomes.Oversee the full procurement process from supplier selection to order coordination.Monitor inventory levels to balance supply and minimise excess.Implement cost-effective procurement strategies and maintain compliance with regulations.Support new product development through business case collaboration.Regularly meet with key stakeholders and suppliers to communicate needs and manage risks.Skills & Attributes: Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.Analytical skills for inventory and sales analysis.End-to-end procurement management experience.Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Asana.Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance and process improvement.Qualifications & Experience: 5+ years in procurement, with robust negotiation and relationship management skills.Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field (preferred).Strong analytical and organisational skills, with knowledge of customs and trade regulations.Performance Objectives: Maintain stock days within forecast and minimise SLOBS to benchmarked levels.Apply Now:If you're a strategic thinker passionate about optimising procurement processes and building strong supplier relationships, we'd love to hear from you! #J-18808-Ljbffr
