Generous salary package 20% STI A leading data centre provider is seeking x2 Project Manager's to hit the ground running on the delivery of a large-scale project in Melbourne. Are you an experienced construction/client-side professional with data centre, industrial, hospital, pharmaceutical, rail, road, or tunnels experience and looking for a new opportunity in the technology industry? Role Overview As a Project Manager reporting to the Development Manager, you'll play a crucial role in the delivery of a large-scale data centre project. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborating closely with clients to shape the scope and design of seamless office and fit-out projects within large industrial sites. Taking charge of project management and leading construction-related activities for both new builds and fit-out projects. This includes full ownership of project scope, timelines, and budgets. Daily Responsibilities Skillfully manage customer and contractor access, working closely with operations teams. Provide expert construction management for initiatives focused on bolstering the resilience of extensive industrial sites. Assess the feasibility of electrical and mechanical system designs for new construction or optimization of existing large industrial sites. Define project scope and equipment requirements while actively contributing to proposals and capital requests. Serve as a subject matter expert within internal and external teams dedicated to large industrial site development. Develop and meticulously review tender packages, encompassing scope of works, bid templates, tender evaluations, reviews, and recommendations. Deliver comprehensive cost reporting, including cash flows and cost-to-complete reports. Play a pivotal role in reviewing and facilitating vendor claims, encompassing payment claims, invoices, variations, and time-related claims. Requirements Possess 7-10 years of experience in construction management/delivery, particularly with industrial (ideally data centre) projects. Hold a bachelor’s degree, preferably in mechanical/electrical/civil engineering, with project management or architecture credentials as a bonus. Ideally, bring experience working within an industrial operator's environment or fast-tracking involvement in large-scale projects in a consultant/developer capacity. Demonstrate exceptional adaptability and flexibility to navigate through evolving project landscapes. Exhibit a results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to getting tasks completed.
