Applications are accepted via eCredential only, to apply click here Position Classification : Staff Specialist Employment Type : Permanent Part Time Hours Per Week : up to 16 Where you'll be working The Northern Beaches Community Mental Health Service (NBCMHS) provides a comprehensive range of community mental health services for adult and older people in the Northern Beaches local government area. NBCMHS includes community mental health care for adult and older people, acute care, care coordination, assertive outreach service and consultation liaison service for Mona Vale Hospital and the Manly Adolescent and Youth Adult Hospice (AYAH). Purpose of the Position The position of Staff Specialist Northern Beaches Community Mental Health Services works within a multi-disciplinary team using a recovery orientated approach to support the timely clinical assessment, review, management, treatment and discharge planning to support the delivery of a high quality, safe, and evidence based mental health services for adult and older people residing in the Northern Beaches local government area. Selection Criteria MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Psychiatrist and/or overseas trained substantial specialist pathways. Applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within 3 months may be considered.
