Redeemer Lutheran School is an innovative and well-resourced School and Early Learning Centre, with outstanding facilities and an excellent reputation for delivering a contemporary and internationally accredited education program for children and families in the Barossa Valley region.
Position Description: The Library Officer will manage the day-to-day operation of our new Resource Centre. They will reflect a sound understanding of, and a commitment to, the Mission, Vision and Values of Redeemer Lutheran School.
The Library Officer will have duties and responsibilities that include:
* Ensuring the smooth running of the Library
* Supporting Teaching and Learning
* Providing Administration support
Personal Requirements, Skills and Attributes:
The Library Officer will:
* Have a love of children’s literature
* Be pleasant and approachable
* Have a love of children and ability to build relationships with them
* Have excellent organisational and time management skills
* Have flexibility to deal with a constantly changing school environment
* Have empathy with the ethos of a Lutheran school
* Have the ability to work in a team and independently
* Work to deadlines
* Use initiative
* Have a high level of ICT skills
