Implementation Consultant (InsurTech) – Engineering to Implementation We're partnered with a rapidly growing InsurTech scale-up that is transforming the industry with cutting-edge solutions. They're looking for a hands-on Implementation Consultant who has come from a software engineering background and thrives in a hybrid role - balancing customer engagement with deep technical execution.
What You'll Be Doing: 30% customer requirements, 70% technical execution – You'll bridge the gap between client needs and technical solutions. Custom tool implementation & configuration – Leverage out-of-the-box capabilities while building tailored solutions. API Integration & Development – Configure and maintain REST APIs and SOAP web services, integrating with third-party systems. Coding & Development – Develop Java and JSP code to support technical user stories and product customisation. SQL & Database Management – Strong understanding of relational databases, querying SQL-based systems for data integration. Front-End Experience – Work with HTML for UI customisation and enhancements. Product Demos & Client Interaction – Conduct demos and provide technical guidance to stakeholders. Agile & Waterfall Methodologies – Work within an Agile SAFe development model, analysing business requirements, creating user stories, technical design documents, and proof of concepts. Sprint & Iteration Reviews – Collaborate with cross-functional teams, delivering solutions through structured sprints and iteration demos. What We're Looking For: Strong coding experience in one or more of the following: Java, JSP, .net, C# and HTML. Hands-on experience with API-based integration. Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases. Experience in Agile & SAFe methodologies, handling user stories, technical documentation, and proof of concepts. Ability to conduct product demos and work closely with customers to translate business needs into technical solutions. Experience in insurance, fintech, or SaaS is a plus!
