Applied is seeking a full-time Mid-Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to mechanical design and engineering, including creating 3D models, conducting simulations and analysis, and reviewing and improving existing designs. Applied Robotics completes turn-key projects consisting of Special Purpose Machinery, Vision Systems, Custom End Effectors, Conveying, and Robotics that require a Mechanical Design Engineer to leverage knowledge across the full spectrum of Mechanical Automation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects and contribute to the development of innovative automation solutions.QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in mechanical design and engineeringProficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCADExperience with designing and implementing automation systemsStrong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processesAbility to analyze and solve complex engineering problemsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAttention to detail and ability to meet project deadlinesExperience with robotics and automation technologies is a requirementFamiliarity with safety standards and regulations including AS4024 and AS4991About Applied Robotics:Applied Robotics has been a leader in transforming Australian manufacturing for over four decades.
