The Role Reporting to the Operations Manager and working directly with the peer shift managers you will be accountable for all aspects of the shift, including reporting against performance KPI’s, product quality, material usage and control, team development and performance management. An important feature of the role will be to identify opportunities for process improvement through utilizing effective problem-solving skills.
The role is shift based and is required to work on 12-hour rotational basis (7.00am-7.00pm, 7.00pm -7.00am)
The Successful candidate will Demonstrate
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment with a record of successfully training, developing, and motivating and leading teams.
Ability to drive production efficiency through KPI reporting, whilst controlling quality standards
Experience in problem solving skill, and root cause analysis to improve manufacturing process
Commitment and understanding of safety leadership and compliance
Computer literacy and report writing
What We are Looking For
Qualification or trade in mechanical or electrical field or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong mechanical and/or electrical knowledge
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills
You are a positive influence on the team and business performance
Be able to meet requirements of Orora’s pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing.
