Shape student futures by connecting industries, employers and career opportunities 2x Full time, fixed term contracts until 31st December 2025 Base Salary $108,557 - $118,267 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Careers Centre, which sits within Education – Enterprise and Engagement, plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional career and employment outcomes for students. The Centre is looking for two Industry Development Leads to bridge the gap between the university, employers, industry partners and alumni, ensuring strong engagement and impactful results. In this role, you will also design and implement innovative marketing and business development strategies to promote the Careers Centre’s services to external organisations. Reporting to the Industry Development Manager, your key responsibilities will be to: collaborate with internal stakeholders, including faculties, schools and central departments, and external stakeholders, such as employers and industry partners oversee the planning and execution of careers fairs, on-campus employer activities, and other employer-focussed services manage employer enquiries and ensure the delivery of high-quality services within agreed timeframes supervise and support Industry Development Officer(s) in delivering services and resolving issues plan and manage projects and programs that align with organisational strategic goals and industry needs design and implement innovative marketing and business development initiatives to promote the Careers Centre’s services. About you proven experience managing and coordinating large-scale employer/career projects or programs in Australia and/or overseas demonstrated ability to implement strategic projects with multiple stakeholders from concept to delivery, achieving positive outcomes strong skills in planning, project management, and event delivery, both online and in-person proficiency in technology tools such as MS Office Suite, Power BI, and Adobe Design Studio knowledge of recruitment practices, labour markets, and employer needs in Australia and overseas excellent interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with strong teamwork and people management capabilities.
