As a Revenue Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing our reservations department and maximising revenue and profitability across our three hotels.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance revenue generation across various channels and report on such strategies.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
In addition to this, you will work across our hotel front office operations to gain an ongoing understanding of our systems, team structure, and hotel guests.
Key responsibilities will include:
Maximising revenue by converting new enquiries, upselling, and confidently responding to queries regarding our propertiesAccurately inputting and accessing data in our reservations systemDeveloping and executing revenue optimisation strategies to achieve business objectives and financial targetsAnalysing market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for revenue growthMonitoring and evaluating pricing structures, discounting strategies, and revenue performance metricsCollaborating with hotel, marketing, and finance teams to align revenue initiatives with overall business goalsUtilising data analytics and forecasting tools to assess revenue potential and make data-driven decisionsImplementing best practices in revenue management to enhance operational efficiency and profitabilityContinuously monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of revenue strategies, making adjustments as needed to optimise resultsStaying informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting revenue management practicesThis Full-Time position is primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend coverage required during peak periods.
This role has the flexibility to work remotely depending on the candidate and their location.
Accessibility to attend the Newcastle office will be required at the start of this role.
Certifications required: RSA
