You'll enjoy this role working as part of the Network Maintenance Operational Technology team where you will provide technical support for critical systems and networks. You will deliver whole of life operation and maintenance of CCTV and Passenger Information systems, which directly impacts Sydney Trains' customers. This role will see you provide specialised technical knowledge in the ongoing maintenance of these assets and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the business. You will provide maintenance and software support of Audio, Visual, Genetec Video Management System of CCTV and Passenger Information system infrastructure. Please note, this is a fixed term (temporary) opportunity to 30 June 2025. About you Your strong stakeholder management and influencing skills will see you successfully balance managing relationships with getting results. Your proficiency in managing and maintaining computer systems, servers, and software applications including Windows Active Directory and VMware will see you successfully ensure high availability, optimal performance and security for key assets that ensure a safe journey for Sydney Trains customers. Experience with Microsoft Server skills and a solid understanding of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services is required. You possess solid computer networking skills, excellent interpersonal skills and strong documentation and procedural skills will be the key to your success in this role. VMware Certified Technical Associate or Professional certification along with an understanding of ITIL, will be desired although is not essential. The successful applicant will be part of an on-call roster, which can include weekend work and public holidays.
