Our client is a prominent industry leader in the retail space with a high quality portfolio of cutting edge products in the consumer durables space. Due to exciting growth plans both locally and internationally they are looking for a Senior eCommerce & Digital Manager to join the team and drive their online presence and eCommerce capability.
The Role
As the Digital & E-Commerce Manager, you will be the APAC leader for all commerce driving initiatives while propelling revenue growth with/for trade partners as well as on the company’s own webstores and in marketplace environments. You will lead the Digital & CRM strategy for APAC (with an initial focus on Australia) to deliver the best online visibility and performance for three of the businesses core brands.
You will take full ownership of the E-Commerce channel, from top-level strategy and analysis to execution. While working collaboratively with and sharing best practices with the global marketing and US based team, you will be accountable for managing all aspects of the online Australian storefronts, managing relationships with agencies and with third party vendors, moving the needle on conversion rate and site experience, setting marketing automations and working closely with the global content team to ensure all tactics and creative aligns with the business objectives.
About You
To be successful you will be an accomplished Digital & eCommerce expert who has a track record of delivering growth in a consumer durables and/or retail environment. Ideally you will have had some global exposure but critical to your success will be your understanding of eCommerce metrics, CRM and what levers to pull to increase conversation and best practice capability out of a team and the tools available to you. You will be able to operate in a fast paced environment, juggling multiple priorities at any one time and being able to deal with ambiguity, test and learn processes and a business that is in transformation. Ideally you will have experience in outdoor leisure and adventure brands or at the very least a passion for the outdoors.
