What you'll do: Provide strategic input into divisional and group planning activities, budget processes, pricing reviews, regulatory reviews, procurement strategies, compliance reporting, and other strategic topics Develop and manage Investment Plans assigned to the Electrical Engineering team, including reporting and information sharing Development of high-quality business cases for electrical asset upgrades within timeframe expectations Develop electrical asset strategies and plans to effectively manage the asset lifecycle across maintenance, renewal and disposal of electrical assets Oversee the electrical safety management system and upgrade planning to meet risk appetite Participate in regulatory and stakeholder engagement associated with electrical asset issues Coordinate operational support from the team to Operations and Maintenance as needed during critical events and normal operations What you'll need to be successful: Essential Criteria: Degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering and/or qualifications or experience equivalent to a graduate member of the Institute of Engineers Australia (if not degree qualified a minimum of an Advanced Diploma Electrical Engineering is required) Sound understanding of electrical assets (HV and LV), and experience in the management and planning of the lifecycle for electrical assets Experience in project management with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders to produce successful outcomes Demonstrated experience in supervising employees and leading project teams Experience with the operation and maintenance of electrical assets Well-developed analytical and innovation skills with the ability to initiate and deliver change and business improvement Highly developed oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills Desirable Criteria: Experience in asset operations, design, and/or construction Formal qualifications in leadership or management Application Steps: To be considered for this position applicants must submit a cover letter addressing the Selection Criteria above and provide a current resume.
