About the Role
The Regional Manager, Home and Living Support will lead their team of Disability Support Workers to support the provision of a high level of customer service to our clients and their families with a focus on supporting the management of coordination of supports, community access and psychosocial services across the Limestone Coast. Current services exist in Mt Gambier, Millicent and Penola with a desire to grow the services further.
As Regional Manager you will have outstanding interpersonal skills to manage organisational issues, negotiate individual service agreements and outcomes and develop and motivate staff. The Regional Manager will be required to understand and implement effective staff management and build positive relationships with families in addition to managing and influencing change. You will also ensure a high level of quality, achievements of standards, legislative requirements, service provisions, staffing and financial management within areas of responsibility.
The Regional Manager accountabilities will be split 80% management/supervision and 20% rostered working directly with clients and alongside staff in clients’ homes in a supernumerary capacity.

In this role you will:
* Provide sound leadership, coaching and direction to direct reports in operational, performance, administrative and disability industry matters, role modelling of Minda’s Values aligned with Minda’s Purpose
* Develop and maintain an appropriate program for professional development, staff training and education for ongoing development of the team consistent with individual and team plans as established via the Performance Management Framework.
* In conjunction with Human Resources conduct and resolve all formal performance management issues
* Oversee the recruitment, induction, training and supervision of employees and any site volunteers/placement students
* Establish measurable outcomes that improve the quality of life for clients and document accordingly
* Undertake regular reviews and audits of delivery of services identifying service gaps, and assessing potential solutions for continuous improvement in conjunction with Senior Manager, Client Services
* Work alongside Client Service Unit to support with Onboarding of clients within your cluster.
* Communicate with families as per individual agreements
* Ensure all concerns and issues raised by staff, clients and or families are fairly and appropriately investigated and a plan for resolution, including time frames, is clearly documented

Skills and Qualifications Required
* Completion of Tertiary studies in Disability or similar discipline
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or Valid DHS Disability Screening)
* Working with Children Clearance and Child Safe Environments training
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module
* Current Driver's Licence
* Unrestricted Working Rights
* Relevant industry and/ or management experience.
* Medication Competency
