Oral Health Services Tasmania (OHST) is a division of the Tasmania Department of Health that provides public dental care services to eligible Tasmanians. Its primary goal is to improve oral health outcomes across the state, particularly for vulnerable and disadvantaged populations.
The Role:
To ensure an efficient flow of information to and from the relevant region, the Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative support and advice to the Area Manager and Regional Management Team by performing human resources, finance, and administrative functions to support the business operations of the region.
You will:
* Provide administrative advice and assistance to the Area Manager, Regional Management Team, and regional staff on a diverse range of human resource services, including all documentation and auditing relating to payroll, staff professional development and mandatory training, and new staff administrative function and orientation support.
* Provide an administrative support service for the relevant region, undertaking diary management, sorting mail, making travel arrangements, registering consumer feedback, and scheduling meetings.
* Liaise with a wide range of staff, including representatives from outside the organisation, in relation to necessary administrative arrangements pertaining to relevant region meetings and/or activities.
Details of appointment:
Fixed term full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 19 June 2026.
* Notwithstanding, hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
$66,049 to $70,993 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
