You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining high standards and ensuring project success while liaising with stakeholders and conducting inspections. As a Registered Domestic Building Practitioner, you’ll make a positive impact by: Managing and overseeing domestic building contracts, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance Performing periodic inspections to monitor quality and compliance with building codes Identifying non-compliance issues and recommending resolutions Evaluating project risks and ensuring safety and quality standards are met Providing technical advice and support to project teams and contractors Preparing detailed reports from inspections and compliance reviews Serco is a place for you To be successful in this role, you’ll have: A current Domestic Builder’s Licence issued by the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) Registration as a Domestic Building Practitioner in Victoria Proven experience in contract management or a related role in the building and construction industry Strong knowledge of the Domestic Building Contracts Act 1995 and Australian building codes Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in report writing and stakeholder management At Serco, you’ll find a collaborative team environment, career growth opportunities, and the chance to make a difference in communities across Victoria.
