Job Duties: Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations. Supervision, training and coordination of food and beverage employees. Monitoring staff rosters and performances. Overseeing and undertaking stock control including purchase and pricing and inventory control.Monitoring the restaurant's cash flow and settling outstanding bills. Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner. Maintaining customer services standards set by management. Ensuring that work area complies with the highest standards of cleanliness. Ensuring that customers are served in a professional and diligent manner. Being responsible for overseeing the efficient running and profitability of restaurants and for managing the employees. Devising staff rosters at the best interest of the company. Discussing menu ideas with chefs and making menu plans. Other ad hoc tasks assigned by management.
