We're on the lookout for committed individuals like yourself, eager to create genuine impact! We're hiring casual Direct Support Workers to assist our Aged Care clients residing across Logan!
Your contribution:
* Assist with personal care, including showering, dressing, and personal hygiene
* Administer medications
* Domestic duties including cleaning, laundry, or meal preparation
* Assisting clients between 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
* Community engagement, such as attending doctors' appointments, grocery shopping, or other social or recreational activities of their choice
About you:
* Looking for a change from aged care facilities and have the opportunity to build one-to-one rapport with your aged care clients
* Great communicators dedicated to providing the best service for every person
* Even better listeners who can work autonomously, as well as under direction and within a team environment
* Calm and confident in all different environments and understand the importance of professional boundaries
* Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (highly desirable)
* Can provide personal care with dignity and sensitivity to our clients
* Believe in an inclusive society and value client focus, respect, inclusion, integrity, excellence, and courage
* Hold an Australian Open Drivers License and full comprehensive car insurance
* Have the capacity to travel to clients' homes

Before you commence, you will need:
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates
* A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
* An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card)
* Hold an Australian Open Drivers License and full comprehensive car insurance
* A smartphone with an iOS 13.0 and up operating system or an Android 6.0 and up operating system
