Whether you're experienced or just starting out, there are plenty of opportunities to gain valuable on-the-job experience while you pursue your passion for quality care.Key ResponsibilitiesPersonal Care: Assist with daily tasks such as grooming, bathing, dressing, and hygiene to ensure clients' comfort, dignity, and well-being.
(Cert III in Individual Support required.Household Assistance: Support clients with cleaning, meal preparation, and general household tasks to maintain a safe and tidy living environment.Transportation: Drive clients to medical appointments, shopping, and social activities, ensuring they can access essential services and maintain their independence.Social Engagement: Foster social interaction and provide companionship, offering emotional support to improve clients' quality of life and overall well-being.To be successful in this role, you will need the following:Essential Skills:Effective communication skillsAn empathic and caring approachAbility to work unsupervised and as part of a teamAccess to a fully maintained and insured vehicleStrong planning and organizational skillsCompetency with smartphones/tablets or willingness to learnPhysical fitness for manual handling and extended periods of standing/sittingQualifications:Qualified Home Care Employee: Certificate III in Individual Support (essential)Current First Aid Certificate and CPR or willingness to obtainCurrent unrestricted Australian Driver's LicenseWhat's in it for You?
