Our client is conducting a search for a dedicated and skilled ICT – Customer Support Officer. Current Opening: This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week). Position Responsibilities and Tasks Provide efficient technical support to end-users, addressing and resolving hardware and software issues. Respond promptly to customer inquiries, offering guidance and solutions to ICT-related problems. Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and prioritise technical issues for timely resolution. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks and related peripherals. Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve technical issues. Document and maintain accurate records of support interactions, solutions provided and system configurations. Offer training and guidance to end-users on utilising hardware, software and ICT tools effectively. Stay updated on technological advancements and provide recommendations for system improvements. Monitor and maintain the performance of ICT systems, ensuring optimal functionality and security. Assist in the implementation of ICT policies and procedures to enhance overall system efficiency. Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues as needed. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software and operating systems. Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. Experience with installing, configuring and maintaining ICT systems. Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex technical issues. Salary: The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $70,000 - $80.000 p.a, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
