I'm seeking a Strategic Account Manager to handle both account management and business development at a national level. You'll maintain key client relationships while exploring new markets and developing sales leadership skills, with strong potential for career advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyse customer relationships and business issues to assess competitive positioning.
2. Develop and execute strategic objectives and proposals for key accounts.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement account plans.
4. Foster cross-team communication and coordination to enhance client engagement.
5. Identify and pursue growth opportunities to expand the portfolio.
6. Lead sales processes aligned with customer decision-making.
7. Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and build trust.
8. Organise, review, and generate executive summaries of account plans.
9. Improve profitability and ensure the long-term success of partnerships.
10. Oversee contract negotiations and ensure compliance with sales policies.
11. Provide regular updates on sales performance and market trends.
About You:
1. Extensive experience in a commercial role, ideally within a global organisation.
2. Strong commercial acumen, preferably with an industrial background.
3. Proven ability in business development, identifying new opportunities within complex business structures.
4. Experience in government negotiations (desirable).
5. Highly driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
6. Strong negotiation skills in contracts, pricing, and solution selling.
7. Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management abilities.
