About the Company
The team at Sharp & Carter have multiple Payroll positions with varying clients at different levels. We have a range of fantastic opportunities if you’re looking for a new challenge. These positions will suit motivated Payroll Officers with a minimum 2 years experience who are excited to take the next step in their career.
The Role
4. Accurate and timely processing of a weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payroll for employees
5. Processing of new starter and position change paperwork
6. Calculation of termination payments
7. Provide assistance and resolution payroll queries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner
8. Preparation and lodgement of PAYG, Payroll Tax and Superannuation
9. Ensuring that all payroll components are costed to the relevant general ledger accounts and reconciled
The Ideal Candidate

10. A desire and willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving skills
11. 1 years+ experience in a similar Payroll Officer role would be highly desirable
12. Confident personality that enjoys speaking to key stakeholders
13. Strong communication and relationship building skills
