Technical Support Service Technician Aptella is seeking a dynamic and versatile Technical Support Service Technician to join their team based in Silverwater, NSW. This is a full-time role reporting to the Support Services Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support both remotely from our office and on-site with our customers' equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining our client's satisfaction and ensuring the seamless functioning of our Automation, Survey, Machine Control and Software solutions. This is a dynamic role where you'll have the opportunity to leverage your current skills set whilst also benefiting from our personal development and training programs. Ideally, you would have a background in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a similar discipline, and have a strong interest in technology. This role is also subject to a pre-employment medical assessment and police check. Key responsibilities will include: Transitioning between office and field environments, providing technical support for our customers. Managing support cases within our case management systems. Field support for Surveying/Geospatial products and Machine Control products. Delivery of customer development and training in the field or within our dedicated training facilities. Assist sales teams with product demonstrations and technical advice to ensure customers have the right solutions. Provide Surveying/Geospatial & Civil product handovers to our customers. Provide support for internal Services Team. Assist Pre-Delivery Teams in setting up Hire Equipment. Assist service schedulers with field service requirements. Be seen to be a trusted advisor by our customers and staff. About you: To be successful in this role, you will have the following attributes: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Ability to build and manage customer relationships and expectations. Desire to be seen as a trusted advisor by our customers and staff. Experience with surveying practices, techniques, and concepts. Experience with survey data preparation and various software packages. Background in GPS & 3D Machine Control is desirable. Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn new skills, embrace new technologies, and automation strategies. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail. Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and a positive outgoing personality. Goal-oriented, outcome-focused, and performance-driven. Sound computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office applications. Display a high degree of professionalism and a positive attitude. Strong technical aptitude.
