Through strong partnerships and a trauma-informed care approach, we support Aboriginal health services across the NT, working collaboratively to improve outcomes and support community wellbeing.AMSANT is looking for a full-time CQI Program Coordinator based in Alice Springs, NT.In this impactful role, you'll support the implementation of the NT Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Strategy and work closely with Aboriginal PHC services to improve care delivery.
You will report to the Health Systems Manager and work alongside the CQI Program Coordinator – Lead and other stakeholders across the Territory.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Coordinating implementation of the NT CQI Strategy in alignment with the Program Logic modelDelivering training and mentoring to clinicians, health service staff and CQI facilitators in CQI processes and toolsSupporting the development and execution of local and regional CQI plans in PHC servicesPlanning and coordinating professional development activities and the annual NT CQI CollaborativeAnalysing NT Aboriginal Health KPIs (NTAHKPIs) and other data to identify trends and drive improvementsEngaging external stakeholders including academic institutions and accreditation bodies to enhance CQI impactProviding secretarial support to the NT CQI Steering CommitteeAbout YouTo qualify, you will need to be an AHPRA-registered clinician or bring substantial experience in primary health care, ideally within Aboriginal health services.
You will have a demonstrated ability to lead quality improvement initiatives, interpret health data, and support capacity-building across diverse clinical teams.Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:Applied knowledge in clinical CQI, change management, and CQI systems in Aboriginal PHCHigh-level verbal and written communication skills with cross-cultural competencyExperience mentoring clinical teams or CQI facilitatorsStrong analytical and strategic thinking skillsAbility to work autonomously and collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teamsCulturally aware and able to work under Aboriginal leadershipAs our ideal candidate, you are a strong communicator and facilitator, capable of influencing outcomes through relationship-building, not authority.
