Our key service deliverables are nature conservation, parks and visitor services, sustainable forest management, and fire management.We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Leader - Fire Management to join our team.Under the minimal direction of (Level 6) or reporting to (Level 7) the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the co-ordination of the fire management program and activities within the region; including fire management planning, prescribed fire and bushfire suppression, works programming, work standards and performance, liaison (including Traditional Owner engagement), environmental management, health and safety, and financial accountability.At the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), we have adopted Leadership Expectations which provides a common understanding of the mindsets and expected behaviours required of all our employees and the public sector.
In this role, you will be Leading Others to help drive positive change.Selection CriteriaApplicants should address the following five (5) criteria.
