About The Position
Pentarch Logistics division provides portside storage, quality control, measurement and logistics solutions for the export of log and allied wood products within Australia.
We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team based in Burnie site, where you will be involved with a range of duties including the receival and processing of whole log products.

We are looking for candidates who are available to work permanent full-time day shifts from Monday to Friday starting from 6 am Daily.
We are offering a competitive hourly rate + super and paid overtime as required.
Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To The use of various fixed and mobile plant machinery. Daily machinery and equipment pre-start inspections. General labouring duties including ensuring the work area is clean and free of debris on an ongoing basis. Inventory management and database entry. Having a constant focus on health & safety across all areas of our site. To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience in machine operating, labouring, manual handling or in a production environment is highly desirable. A positive attitude at work, whilst being reliable and punctual. A strong commitment to safety is essential. Knowledge of the timber industry is favorable. Be physically fit, with the ability to manually handle various sizes of timber product. The ability to work effectively within a team environment and produce work to a high standard.
