Administration Assistant/ Trainee Legal PA

Desired Skills and Expertise
You don’t need to have prior experience in the legal industry, or in administration but you do need to have the right attitude, approach and attention to detail. We are looking for the right individual, with the right characteristics, and full training and support will be provided for those who require it.
This role will suit individuals who are fast learners, have excellent attention to detail, who like to take responsibility for their output and are proactive in supporting team members.
We provide extensive training for any incoming staff and the successful candidate will have key responsibilities in:
Partners / Seniors
* Full responsibility for inbox management, including all filing.
* Proactive handling of correspondence directed to Partners (coordinate further actions, draft replies etc).
* Have responsibility for calendar and diary management, including coordinating meetings, making travel arrangements, booking venues and detailed travel itineraries.
* Proof reading emails, drafting responses and other relevant correspondence and documentation.
* Scanning and filing filenotes
* Assist with receipts, expenses
Matter Management
* Document and contract production, formatting, reviewing and finalising (including document protection).
* Assist with general administrative duties for the wider team, document production, formatting, review and finalising.
* Assist with other functions essential to the efficient running of matters.
* Matter life cycle – assist Partners as required, and working closely with support team to meet deliverables.
Learning and Development
* Assist seniors to meet professional obligations, update forms, book courses etc.
* Assist Partners with billing management.
* Work closely with the wider support team to manage team deliverables
Office Administration Assistance Including:
* Key support to the Practice Manager to ensure smooth running of the office including:
o Managing office supplies and equipment.
o Assisting with events, meetings and staff initiatives.
o Responsibility for maintaining neat and tidy office at all times.
