Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following activities:Take ownership of monthly CAPEX and Fixed Asset accounting and reportingWorking closely with the Financial Controller, liaising with banks to arrange asset financingProcess month end journals and prepare balance sheet reconciliationsSupport our AP & AR functions as needed – reviewing payments and liaising with AR on bank reconciliationsManagement of bulk and finished goods inventoryReconcile intercompany loansTake full ownership of staff reimbursement – this occurs on a weekly basis. Training new staff members on the process and policies relating to this.Prepare daily bank reconciliationsPrepare BAS and assist with FBT preparation in conjunction with the Assistant ControllerAssist with preparation of monthly management accountsMaintenance of Jet and Power BI reportsBusiness partner and support Lara production site in alongside Assistant ControllerSpecial projects on an ad-hoc basisSkills & ExperienceThe role will ideally suit someone who has previous experience in a similar role, loves to problem solve and make process improvements. The successful candidate will be commercially astute coupled with the following experience and attributes:Degree qualified in Accounting, Business, Commerce or similar.CA or CPA Qualified preferred but not essential – someone who is ambitious and wants to continue to study will be provided training and financial support.Minimum 3 years’ experience within an accounting or administrative role – this can include internship experience.Good understanding of general accounting principles with desire to learn more.Superior attention to detail, organisational skills, and capabilities in terms of prioritising work and meeting deadlines.Friendly and approachable manner to ensure effective communication with all areas of the business with a strong commitment to customer service – Excellent written and verbal communication skillsPrevious experience working with the Microsoft Suite.
