About the Company - We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team on our Global food manufacturing client site in Ballarat. As the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and productive environment for all occupants.
About the Role - In this key role, you will be responsible for managing planned work schedules, hard and soft services, and contract management ensuring the smooth operation of the site while supporting 30 team members across Security, Cleaning, and Catering. Other duties will include but won’t be limited to:
1. Supervise and lead a team of staff and contractors, ensuring high standards of service delivery and compliance with safety regulations.
2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, building occupants, and external contractors.
3. Foster a culture of excellent customer service within the team.
4. Drive innovation and develop strategic initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of facilities and services.
5. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, health and safety guidelines, and environmental standards.
6. Provide regular reports to management on service delivery, site performance, and key issues.
7. Project management experience, particularly in facility-related projects.
8. Proficiency in facilities management software and systems.
9. Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
10. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Qualifications - Full Australian work rights (Mandatory) Undertake Sodexo's Pre-employment requirements.
Required Skills - You are passionate about providing excellent customer service with proven experience delivering facilities and asset management services in a manufacturing environment. You will have demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
Pay range and compensation package - $120K + Super, many development opportunities, and an outstanding benefits and recognition program!
