This is a 17 month contract position with the Department of Education. The role of Maintenance Plan Advisor requires working in remote locations and traveling on small planes. The successful candidate will provide quality advice and consultancy services to schools, senior management and staff on facilities planning, investment and portfolio operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high level advice, information and support services to clients across a broad range of facilities planning, investment and asset management issues.
* Coordinate with other regional facilities teams, Infrastructure Services Division and external service providers in the provision of a broad range of facilities services.
* Collaborate with staff across regional facilities teams, Infrastructure Services Division and other agencies to provide a comprehensive field-based facility support service to clients.

About the Role:
The role will be valued by the number of school-based programs set, customer engagement and trainings as well as percentage of program delivery completed by third party providers.
Minimum work from the office will be 4 days. Flexible arrangements can be made for one day with approval of the Manager.
This position will support medium asset planning for maintenance and budget allocations.
