Cancer Care Services are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse to join their Clinical Trials team! Could this be you? The Clinical Nurse role provides expert care to patients and supports clinical trial processes within the service. Coordinating trials in collaboration with the manager and principal investigator, the clinical nurse adheres to Good Clinical Research Practice guidelines and offers guidance to nursing staff in complex situations. About us: The Clinical Nurse Clinical Trials role is accountable for the coordination of clinical trials within the cancer setting within the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS), in consultation with the Clinical Trials Manager and the Principal Investigator. The role practices in accordance with the Guidelines for Good Clinical Research Practice (ICH-GCP) and the Australian National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Research Involving Humans and the laws and regulations of the Therapeutic Goods Act 1989 as published by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). In addition, this role will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse and other non-registered nursing personnel in more complex situations. About you: Mandatory qualifications: Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Completion of (or evidence of working towards) the eviQ Anticancer Drug Administration Course (ADAC).
