We have an exciting opportunity in the Operational Standards and Compliance Team for a Senior Systems Officer.
The Operational Standards and Compliance Team is responsible for the technical governance for a range of systems used across NSW Health from clinical systems directly related to the treatment of patients, and support systems which enable us to manage our diverse workforce effectively, through to cloud virtualisation to enable more efficient use of resources in IT infrastructure.
Reporting into the Manager, Operational Standards and Compliance you will work with various operational teams to assist with the establishment, maintenance and execution of policies, operational standards, procedures and other governance artefacts. In addition, the role will assist operational teams in compliance management through reporting, audit assistance and identifying, prioritising and guiding remediation initiatives.
What you will do
As an integral member of the Operational Standards and Compliance Team, you will:
8. Support and perform on behalf of operational teams the establishment, maintenance and execution of policies, operational standards, procedures and other governance artefacts.
9. Develop and maintain governance processes.
10. Support and perform on behalf of operational teams in compliance management through reporting, audit assistance and identifying, prioritising and guiding remediation initiatives.
11. Develop and maintain compliance management processes.
12. Work with other eHealth governance teams to support initiative and policy alignment to enhance effectiveness of operational teams.
About you
The skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for in you are:
13. Interpersonal, and negotiation skills with experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and customers to achieve optimal business outcomes.
14. Experience and a record of achievement in working with governance and operational teams to establish, maintain and execute policies, operational standards, procedures and other governance artefacts in line with recommended best practice.
15. Experience and a record of achievement in compliance management through reporting, audit assistance and identifying, prioritising and guiding remediation initiatives in line with recommended best practice.
