Job Description
As a Registered Nurse at Palms Aged Care Service in Ingham, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional care to residents. You will work closely with the Service Manager and Allied Health professionals to evaluate resident care needs and develop comprehensive care plans. This opportunity requires flexibility within your shifts, and you will have the chance to engage with our much-loved residents and make a lasting positive impact on their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct baseline and required focus assessments of individual clients' needs and record findings within a Positive Wellbeing Model.
* Develop and review care plans based on assessment findings of individual client needs, ensuring that care strategies are based on evidence.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of care strategies in consultation with client, their representatives and other members of the care team.
* Maintain client documentation in accordance with electronic documentation and organisational and legislative requirements.
* Liaise and collaborate with internal/external service providers in the provision of services.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Some residential aged care experience.
* The ability to problem solve using best practice methods and have demonstrated clinical knowledge.
* High level of professional written and verbal communication.
* Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
* Current National Police and NDIS Screening Check, or ability to obtain.
* Possess a current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate. Or willingness to update.
