Herstellen Clinic is an established and privately-owned specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Medical Aesthetic Clinic based in Spring Hill, Brisbane. Our team consists of our Director and Clinic Owner, Dr Justin Perron, Clinic Manager, Patient Care Coordinator, 3 Practice Nurses, Dermal Therapist, Cosmetic Injector, Lymphoedema Practitioners, Exercise Physiologist and Psychologist! We are looking to expand further with the implementation of a Patient Concierge to run the day-to-day flow of our busy consulting clinics, ensuring 5 star care for all of our patients!We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team on a casual basis of 2-3 days per week. University students are also encouraged to apply. This role will be the very first friendly face that all patients see when arriving at our clinic. Working collaboratively with our entire team, this staff member will be responsible for managing the scheduling and flow of our consulting clinics including Allied Health and Medispa patients. The ideal candidate will have a warm nature, friendly and caring manner, accompanied by a proactive and bubbly attitude! Key Responsibilities: First and foremost, providing an exceptional and professional experience for all patients and visitors to the clinic.Preparing the clinic on consulting days including setting up the waiting room and treatment areas.Welcoming patients, showing them to correct waiting spaces and alerting staff of arrivals.Ensuring the clinic is in immaculate condition, free of waste and ready for all visitors.Schedule management - Checking for cancellations or gaps in the diary to offer to patients.Liaising with patients in a timely, polite and consistent manner to ensure practice confirmations, appointment changes and re-scheduling.Completing patient documents, consents and paperwork in a timely manner to ensure the smooth running of busy patient clinics.Checking patients in and out of the clinic, re-booking follow ups and ensuring appointments are bulk billed/ privately billed.Assisting patients when accessing the clinic via front door or lift, booking taxi's etc.Offering Tea, Coffee, snacks and immediate assistance to whatever our patients require.Generally getting to know the patients and taking the time to chat to them and discuss how their week has been, creating long lasting genuine relationships.Familiarising yourself with the patients entering the clinic and their whereabouts within the clinic (which staff member are they currently seeing, which room they are located in etc).An in depth understanding of all clinic offerings for new and existing patients. Prompting Dermal Therapist for LED Light Therapy, Skin consultations and general dermal inquiries. Maintaining accurate patient records with the highest level of privacy and confidentiality. General administration support to the team as required. What are we looking for? The ideal candidate to join our team will have: Previous medical receptionist/ concierge experience is attractive but not essential, as long as you are enthusiastic and willing to learn! Pay rate will reflect experience. Experience working with Genie software is attractive but not essential.Strong computer literacy and the ability to quickly learn new software packages.Flexibility to work during clinic hours - between 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday + occasional Saturdays.
