Senior Security Engineer- Physical Security
The Bank is looking for a motivated Senior Security Engineer (Physical) to support the Bank's note printing sites in Melbourne.
As Senior Security Engineer, you will monitor performance and perform maintenance on security and electrical control systems, hardware, and software. You will provide security engineering advice and services for the Bank's operations and facilities.
Your proactivity, strong customer management, and personable nature will help set you up for success in this key role.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
* This is a great opportunity for someone to move out of a technical sales role and into a Physical Security Engineer role.
* Qualifications and experience within the security industry that supports the Bank's security treatments.
* Considerable knowledge of computer networks and infrastructure for alarm and access control and CCTV systems.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Gallagher Class 5 is desirable not essential.
* Good experience with IT networks and requirements.
* Good experience or willingness to learn the Bank's existing electronic and physical security treatments.
* Formal qualifications in a field related to physical security systems as well as relevant tertiary qualifications in either electronics, IT, electrical/communications engineering, or equivalent.
* An outstanding customer service and accountability attitude.
* A current valid VIC Security Licence.
Your team
You will work with the Manager of Security Engineering within the Security and Engineering team. The Security and Engineering team are a part of the Infrastructure Workplace facilities management department.
As part of the team, you will contribute Security related services to key partners across the department and the Bank.
The position works closely with security operations at the Bank's banknote printing, processing, and distribution site.
