In this role, you'll : Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools.Undertake road maintenance activities including, but not limited to, widening & barrier installs, enhanced road pavements, overtaking lanes and heavy patching works.Work collaboratively with the team including Team Leaders and Works Supervisors to manage the day-to-day operations and tasks as well as resolve issues that may arise.Travel extensively throughout the region to attend worksites including attending call outs where required.Keep up to date with WHS legislation and policies and procedures as it relates to minimising risk and keeping to safe work standards.About you : We're seeking a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments. You are a practical thinker, quick learner and great communicator who enjoys being physically active performing outdoor manual tasks involving the use of hand tools and equipment within a team setting.
You must hold the following qualifications : Previous experience as a Road Worker Grade 1-3 level or related civil construction experience is required. Please refer to the position description below for more details.
