Looking for someone who wants to learn the correct preparation and application process of painting. Has great attention to detail in everything they do and is able to work unsupervised for short periods of time. Your role will include: One on one training Learning the correct way to prepare roofs, exterior weatherboards and windows, cracks and interiors prior to painting. General plastering, carpentry and repair work. Placing drop sheets and taping up Washing down, sanding, filling and caulking Setting up ladders, trestles, planks and scaffolding to carry out work safely and more efficiently. How to apply paint by brush, roller and sprayer Keeping the job site clean and tidy The applicant Must be hard working and physically fit. Trustworthy and reliable. Willing to learn and follow instructions. Holds a current driver's license and has reliable transport. Is comfortable working at heights. Shows initiative and takes pride in their work.
