Workforce Development Officer
Full-time, 38 hours a week

Are you passionate about creating meaningful change and supporting professional growth? At Rumbalara Aboriginal Cooperative (RAC), we’re looking for a dedicated Workforce Development Officer (WDO) to lead dynamic learning and development programs that empower both our staff and Community members. In this role, you’ll have the chance to make a real impact, supporting culturally relevant training initiatives aligned with our Strategic Plan, and fostering the growth of those around you.
What You’ll Do:
* Design and deliver culturally significant training and workshops that reflect the values of our Community.
* Support staff engaged in studies, traineeships, and apprenticeships, providing guidance, mentorship, and motivation.
* Collaborate closely with Community members, local businesses, staff, and educational institutions to ensure success.
* Attend events, promoting Rumbalara Aboriginal Co-operative as a workplace of choice.
* Join Community-wide celebrations throughout the year.
* Play a pivotal role in helping RAC achieve its goals while expanding your professional skills and making a tangible difference in people’s lives.

About You: We’re seeking someone with:
* Experience supporting students with their educational goals.
* A background in Training & Development, Education, Administration, or related fields.
* A deep understanding of Aboriginal culture and the ability to foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.
* A passion for Cultural Competency and Anti-Racism Training.
* Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to communicate effectively.
* Event planning and workforce development experience (preferred).
What We Offer:
* Competitive pay and conditions – ACCHS Award, Grade 6 Level 1-4: $36 to $39 (negotiable depending on qualifications and experience).
* Salary packaging of $15,900 available for Part- or Full-time employees.
