On this team, you will be responsible for developing the smart helmets from concept to production. You will work closely with electrical engineering designers to provide the firmware that brings life and function to the boards.What You Will DoResearch and create proof-of-concepts for future product technologiesDevelop, integrate and test firmware modules for future productsCollaborate with hardware engineers and product managers to develop firmware modules that meet product requirementsWork closely with hardware teams and chip vendors to bring up and validate hardwareWork with local and overseas firmware teams to guide and coordinate the firmware development effort based on defined architectureSkills We’re Excited AboutBA/BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, MA/MS preferred8+ years of hands-on experience developing embedded software/firmwareStrong C programming and embedded firmware development skills for consumer electronic productsProficient in all levels of software, from low-level interrupt handling, device drivers up to high-level media applicationsExperience in network architecture, internet protocols (TCP, IP, UDP, mDNS), and network application programmingExperience with Bluetooth Low Energy and Bluetooth Classic Audio profiles (HFP, HSP, A2DP).
