The role responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Develop and implement our corporate fleet strategy, addressing current and future vehicle needs while aligning with safety and environmental goals. Lead vehicle procurement and divestment processes, ensuring turnover and usage align with organisational demands. Monitor funding and budgeting for vehicle replacements, considering staff needs and new project requirements. Maintain and administer the fleet vehicle database, tracking vehicle and user details. Oversee fleet vehicle usage, system access, and automated key storage solutions for staff. The ideal candidate is a safety advocate who champions safe driving practices and fleet safety protocols. You will also be committed to sustainability, with a passion for integrating environmentally friendly practices into fleet operations. You will excel as a relationship builder, adept at managing connections with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless and efficient operations. Minimum Requirements: Proven experience in fleet management, procurement, or related fields. Ability to manage budgets, stakeholder relationships, and compliance requirements. Commitment to safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement. Strong organisational and communication skills to handle multiple priorities effectively. A degree or relevant certification in fleet management, logistics, supply chain, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
