Statewide Hospital Pharmacy is a team of over 360 dedicated pharmacists and pharmacy technicians working across Tasmania's acute public hospital system, providing excellence in medication management to patients statewide.

The Role: Statewide Pharmacy Manager, Education, Research, and Development
This Director of Pharmacy level role leads practitioner development programs statewide, with a focus on expanding Pharmacist Resident and Registrar training programs.
The goal is to offer Resident training to all Pharmacist Interns upon completion of their internship. The role guides a significant uplift in capacity for research and quality improvement as part of Residency and Registrar programs.
This will establish the Tasmanian Health Service as a major centre for pharmacy practice innovation.
The role oversees a team of Pharmacy Educators who coordinate and provide site-based education, embedded across the State's acute public hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead practitioner development programs statewide
* Expand Pharmacist Resident and Registrar training programs
* Guide research and quality improvement initiatives
* Oversee Pharmacy Educators and site-based education
* Strengthen statewide practice standards and policy for educational programs
Requirements:
* Great leadership and management skills
* Deep understanding of Pharmacist Residency and Registrar training programs
* Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia or overseas equivalent
* Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
