Marketing Communications Manager
My client is looking for someone who loves cars —and knows how to manage projects efficiently. This role is primarily responsible for coordinating the execution of marketing communications and campaigns across multiple aftermarket brands, and supporting both B2B channels and sales/operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage marketing communications and go-to-market (GTM) tactics across multiple brands, with a particular focus on event activation and media channels.
* Assist in deploying marketing strategies by briefing tactical brand and product campaigns, and strategy execution.
* Manage day-to-day always on activities, and recommend new concepts and course corrections.
* Maintain a balanced focus: 70-80% on present day, shorter-term execution, 20-30% on future growth and innovation.
* Track the effectiveness of campaigns, providing recommendations for adjustments based on performance metrics. (leading and lagging MOS)
* Oversee marketing expenses for owned projects.
* Support field teams and B2B channels, including trade partners, and be the go-to point of contact for retail and category management.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution and alignment on customer care and marketing activities.
Core Requirements:
* Degree in Marketing or hands-on marketing activation results experience in a relevant field.
* You like planes, trains and automobiles (transport machinery)
* Proven experience and results in marketing project management, with a solid understanding of marketing models and practices.
* Bonus points if you have experience in event and sponsorship coordination.
* Initiative and curiosity to explore the "why" before acting, with a knack for self-reflection and pivoting when needed.
* Interest in AI, whether personally or professionally, is a big plus.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to adapt your message depending on the audience.
* High attention to detail and a proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects at once, with a readiness to dive into projects immediately.
