Admin / Receptionist in a Psychology Practice
About the role
Join our team of Psychologists and Counsellors at Macquarie Psychology and Wellbeing as a Receptionist. This is a casual position with approximately 15 hours per week during school hours in the school term, working Monday to Thursday. The position is based in Central Dubbo, NSW. You will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our practice.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and welcoming clients in a friendly and professional manner
* Booking and managing client appointments, both in person and over the phone
* Maintaining and updating client records and files
* Handling client queries and providing information about our services
* Processing billing and payments using technology
* Assisting with general office administration tasks as required
What we're looking for
* Previous experience as a receptionist and/or customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting is desirable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of clients
* Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
* Proficient in using standard office software and computer systems
* A warm, friendly and professional demeanor
* A keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service
