About the role An opportunity has arisen for a stellar Account Manager to join our sales team, based in Eight Mile Plains office in QLD.
The Account Manager shall marshal the resources of Canon to generate sales through effective business development and relationship management in their assigned accounts and draw from their sales experience to do it effectively.
The Account Manager must align specifically with the company's Strategic Vision, Sales Methodologies including a teamwork approach.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a business savvy and highly motivated individual to couple their existing sales experience and relationship management skills, in order to source and win new business opportunities.
In this role you will require a strategic approach to sales and a sound knowledge of the medical imaging industry.

Key Responsibilities: Working closely with new and existing clients to determine their present and future needs and proposing suitable products services and upgrades in order to maintain and grow revenue for the organisation.Maintaining call rates to assure contact with assigned clients and acting as the main interface between the client and Canon Medical to ensure that optimum level of service is provided at all times.Understanding the clients' objectives, buying criteria and decision making process and forming long-term business partnerships in order to leverage revenue and relationship and promote Canon Medical as a quality supplier with the aim of achieving 'preferred' supplier status.Negotiating price and volume discounts (where applicable) in accordance with the company's policies.Identifying and gaining new business through a sustained program of cold calling, mailing and follow up referrals/leads and keeping abreast of competitors' sales strategies.Leading product demonstrations and coordinating the preparation of sales proposals, tenders, bids and contracts.Coordinating, conducting and participating in sales promotions, campaigns, conferences and events.Our ideal candidate will possess: Knowledge and experience working within the Medical Imaging industryProven sales ability including negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skillsRelationship building at all levels of the account - in and out of hoursSound product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at a high level and translate client needs into a complete solutionComprehensive and visible sales strategies with milestones and "whole-of-team" approachA constant attitude of pro-activityTertiary qualification in sales, marketing, business or related fieldDemonstrated success in finding, developing, driving and closing businessDemonstrated success in capital equipment sales is highly desirableAbility to set goals and achieve sales targetsDriver's LicenceSound knowledge of Salesforce or CRM equivalentWhat's on offer?
