The Document Writer plays an integral part in achieving long-term, measurable improvements in safety, performance, and efficiency of our Mobile fleet.
This position is based at South Flank and is offered as a 5/2, 4/3 FIFO roster.
The role involves improving and developing technical documentation including work instructions relating to maintenance activities.
Liaising with reliability engineers and frontline teams to ensure accurate task lists are created, updated and maintained and assigned to execution strategies.
Reviewing requests from the operations frontline and leadership teams to update technical documents including work instructions and preventive maintenance instruction and being in field with teams during execution of activities to capture the right information.
Review and update master data and material numbers aligned with our task lists to reduce variability in parts management.
To be successful in this role, candidates should demonstrate a team-oriented mindset and solution-focused attitude.
We will be looking for people with experience in working with creating and updating technical documents and document management systems.
Possess understanding of ERP systems such as SAP.
An understanding of SAP master data and the dependency between the technical documents and SAP master data is desirable.
You will appreciate the need for quality and have exceptional attention to detail.
You will have an ability to interpret user requirements and update the documents accordingly.
Your ability to work with multiple software packages will ensure you are effective in this role.
Your drive to continuously improve technical documents based on the understanding of impacts is key to being successful in this role.

This role is based at our South Flank mine site on a fly-in fly-out roster, located approximately 130 km by road north-west of Newman.
The facilities at the FIFO village include a fully equipped gym, swimming pool, netted cricket pitch, tennis and basketball court, and recreation room including a pool table, darts, table tennis, TV and DVD player.
All rooms at the village have their own ensuite bathroom, television, refrigerator and air-conditioning.
