About us:Alcohol and Other Drugs aims to reduce the harm from alcohol and drug use as well as improve the health and wellbeing of our clients, their families, and the community, through the provision of Assessment, Counselling, Evidence based treatment services, Brief intervention, Group work, Referrals to other services, Queensland Opioid Treatment Program, Police and Court Drug Diversion Programs, Consultation and Liaison, Drug and Alcohol Brief Intervention Team, Primary Needle and Syringe Program and Harm Reduction and education activities. About the role:Deliver high level Psychology clinical services and leadership within AODS and the Court Link program as a member of a multidisciplinary team to stakeholders and customers of Queensland Health. Deliver high level psychology clinical services within a multidisciplinary team in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards. Contribute to the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols that support the delivery of best practice services in AODS services and the Court Link program. Responsible for monitoring and reporting clinical work practices and outcomes within clinical service area and initiating, planning and evaluating local service improvement activities. About you: Mandatory qualification/s: Applicants must possess an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) accredited four-year qualification in Psychology and general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA). Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: Post-graduate qualifications in relevant Psychology or addiction courses would be highly regarded, as would PsyBA approved supervisor status.
