We provide new & used sales, service, spare parts and finance for a wide array of customers in industries like transport, warehousing, construction, infrastructure, civil works, waste management and government. STM Trucks & Machinery is an authorised dealer for industry leading brands like Fuso Trucks, Iveco Trucks, Kobelco Excavators, ASV Posi-Track Loaders, Merlo Telehandlers, D'Avino Dumpers, C&F Mini Dumpers and many more. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Technician to join our growing service team in Smeaton Grange branch. The position is on a full-time basis with a competitive remuneration package.
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate the following attributes:
* Trade Certificates for Heavy Diesel Automotive (or equivalent)
* Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
* Ability to work within a team environment
* Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions
* Accurately complete job service reports & paperwork
* Commitment to safe work practices
* Commitment to long term employment and its opportunities
* Willing to attend OEM specific technical training
* Excellent time management skills
* Current NSW driver's licence
* Strong work ethics, punctuality and reliability
* Ability to maintain a 100% work efficiency
* Ability to work on a range of light, medium & heavy vehicles
* Ability to work offsite if and when required
* Ability to work overtime & Saturdays, as required
* Own tools (specialised tooling provided)
