You will play a key part in the learning experiences of our students and be part of the successful delivery of the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program.
SEE Trainer
Deliver language, literacy, numeracy & digital skills training while making a difference in the community.
The Opportunity:
* Use your experience to engage students, use effective learning techniques and maintain a student-centred approach
* Identify barriers to learning to support student attendance
* Bring learning to life for students and use different forms of communication to gain positive outcomes
* Conduct pre-training assessments and implement training to meet contract requirements
About you:
* Ability to work with diverse participants
* A driven, supportive and community-minded person, working with learners and in some regions, non-English speakers to support them in building future opportunities through learning
* Able to motivate and upskill jobseekers to improve their LLN skills to complete education and gain employment
* Capacity and desire to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
* Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational area
Qualifications:
* Bachelor of Education, with TESOL or an undergraduate degree or teacher qualification with a Graduate Diploma or Education or postgraduate TESOL
* Knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework preferred
