About the Role As an Early Childhood Teacher / Educational Leader, you’ll play a key role in shaping the direction and ethos of our rapidly growing early learning group. In this hybrid role, you will spend 2 days in an Educational Leader capacity and 3 days in the Kindy room. Your responsibilities will include: Curriculum Development: Design and implement a child-centered curriculum that fosters the best learning experiences and environments for our children. Quality Care & Education: Provide high-quality care, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children while engaging them in planned learning experiences that extend their development and interests. Play-Based Learning: Lead the engagement of children through creative play and planned activities to support their cognitive, social, and emotional growth. Leadership: Inspire, guide, and support a team of educators to maintain high standards of practice and exceed expectations in both curriculum delivery and documentation. Create Magic Moments: Design and deliver age-appropriate activities and experiences that align with children’s developmental stages and bring joy to their day. Collaboration & Mentorship: Foster a collaborative and supportive environment, mentoring your team to continuously improve their practices and exceed quality standards. About You: We’re looking for an experienced, nurturing, and creative Early Childhood Teacher who has the ability to lead and inspire others. If you’re passionate about delivering high-quality education, building strong relationships, and fostering a positive team culture, you could be the perfect fit What we are looking for: A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification. Leadership Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role with a proven track record of inspiring and guiding high-performing teams. Knowledge & Expertise: A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and best practices for school readiness programs. Certifications: Current WWCC, first aid certification, and a proactive, positive attitude. Exceptional Communication: Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support your team to achieve excellence.
